Hatzegopteryx was a large carnivorous azhdarchid pterosaur from the Late Cretaceous period, living around 72–66 million years ago in what is now Romania. It was a top predator on Hațeg Island, known for its massive size and robust build.
Quetzalcoatlus was a giant azhdarchid pterosaur from the Late Cretaceous period (72–66 million years ago) in North America, and includes the largest known flying animal, Q. northropi. It likely hunted small prey on land and soared great distances using powerful wings and hollow bones.
